DeepMeta Calendar
Your Briefs, Auto-Submits and Batch Deadlines all in one place
Getty Images work is full of dates. Briefs close, batches have deadlines and scheduled Auto-submits fire on their own. Until now those dates lived in three different sections of DeepMeta, which made it easy to lose track of the one that mattered this week.
The new Calendar brings them all together in a single overview, with four views to choose from and the option to subscribe to the dates from your own Google, Apple or Outlook calendar.
What ends up in your Calendar
The Calendar collects three kinds of dates:
- Brief (blue) — the end date of a Getty Images Brief
- Auto-submit (green) — the date on which DeepMeta will submit one of your Batches for you
- Deadline (orange) — the deadline you set on one of your open Batches
Each kind has its own colour and icon, so you can tell at a glance whether a busy day is full of Briefs or full of your own deadlines. Only open Batches are included, so submitted and closed work doesn't clutter the view.
Use the Briefs, Auto-submits and Deadlines buttons in the toolbar to show or hide a kind. Next to them, the All Briefs / Liked Briefs switch narrows the Brief dates down to the ones you liked in the Briefs section, which is very handy once you've made your selection for the coming months.
Upcoming
The default view is a straightforward list of everything that's still ahead, with the nearest date on top.

The mini calendar on the left doubles as a date picker: click a day to see only that day's dates, and click it again to return to the full list.
Year
The Year view is the "how busy am I" view: twelve mini months, each day marked with a coloured dot per kind of date it holds.

Click a month name to jump straight into the Month view for that month.
Month
The classic grid, with the dates listed inside each day cell.

On a phone the grid stays compact and shows dots instead: tap a day and its dates appear right below the grid.
Week
Zoom in further to plan the week ahead, with one column per day.

All four views share the same Previous / Today / Next navigation at the top left, and your chosen view and filters are remembered for your next visit.
Clicking a date
Clicking a Brief opens the familiar Brief detail panel, where you can read the full brief and like it without leaving the Calendar. Clicking an Auto-submit or Deadline takes you to the corresponding Batch in the Batches & Uploads section.
Subscribe from your own calendar
The most useful part may well be the Subscribe button in the page header. It offers three calendar feeds you can add to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook:
- Liked Briefs — one event per liked Brief, on its end date
- Batch Auto-submit dates — one event per open Batch that has an Auto-submit date
- Batch deadlines — one event per open Batch that has a Deadline

Each feed has One-click add buttons for the three calendar apps. If those don't work on your device, use the "Copy URL to clipboard" button and follow the step-by-step instructions at the bottom of the page.
Only liked Briefs
The Briefs feed deliberately contains your liked Briefs only. There are typically hundreds of open Briefs at any time, and adding all of them would bury your own agenda under Getty events. So like the Briefs you're interested in, and they'll show up in your calendar automatically.
Your feed URLs are personal and contain a secret signature, so keep them to yourself. Also keep in mind that calendar apps decide for themselves how often they refresh a subscription — Google for instance typically does so every 12 to 24 hours — so a Brief you liked today may take a while to appear.
Feedback
The Calendar is a brand-new section, and after a beta period it's now available to everyone. Your feedback shapes where it goes next, so please contact us with your suggestions and bug reports.
